Finding support

I’m not sure what I’m experiencing is abuse. Where do I start?

You do not need to have all the answers before looking for information. Start with Understand Abuse, or browse Read & Learn for articles you can explore at your own pace.

Can I look for help if I’m not ready to leave?

Yes. You are welcome to explore information and support wherever you are in your journey. Our Find Help page connects you with services that can discuss your circumstances and options. You decide what you want to share.

Where can I find local or international resources?

Visit Find Help and Resources for support options. Our International Help & Resources page includes information for Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Each service has its own coverage, hours, and eligibility; check directly with the provider.

Can I read here without sharing my story?

Yes. You can read RADV’s public articles and resource pages without submitting your story, contacting us, or buying anything. Start with Read & Learn whenever you feel ready.

Does RADV provide emergency assistance or shelter?

RADV is a bridge to information, encouragement, and support resources. It is not an emergency response service or a shelter. For urgent support options, go to Find Help. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services if you can do so safely. Do not wait for an email reply from RADV.

What if I just want something encouraging to read?

You are welcome to spend a little time here. Explore Read & Learn for reflection, encouragement, and stories, or visit Heal & Rebuild. Take what is helpful and pause whenever you need to.

About RADV

What does “We Are the Bridge” mean?

Riders Against Domestic Violence helps connect survivors with information, resources, encouragement, and community. We want people to know they matter and that there are places to turn. Learn more about RADV.

Is RADV only for motorcycle riders?

No. Riders and non-riders are welcome. You do not need a motorcycle, membership, or a purchase to use the public information on this website. If you want to help carry the mission, visit Get Involved.

Does RADV serve people outside Arizona?

Yes. RADV’s mission reaches beyond Arizona. The website shares U.S. resources and has a dedicated international resources page. Local services and chapter availability vary; visit Chapters or contact RADV for questions about involvement in your area.

How can I volunteer or get involved?

Shopping & supporting

Your support is needed and deeply appreciated. Merchandise purchases help support RADV’s work connecting survivors with information, encouragement, and resources. Thank you for helping us keep building the bridge.

How does buying merchandise support RADV?

Purchasing official RADV merchandise helps support the work and carries the message into the community. Visit Shop RADV to see the collection. Every supporter matters, and we appreciate your purchase.

Do I have to buy something to use the resources?

No. RADV’s public articles and resource links are freely available. Shopping is an optional way to support the mission. You are welcome here whether you purchase something or simply come to read.

Where can I get help with shipping, returns, or an order?

Check the product information and your order confirmation, then contact RADV for questions about shipping, a return request, or an order problem. Include your order number and a brief description; do not send card details or passwords. For books purchased through Amazon, use Amazon’s order support because purchase and fulfillment are handled separately.

How else can I help?

Share RADV’s articles and resources, explore volunteer opportunities, or connect with a local shelter about its current needs. Your time, encouragement, and willingness to help people find support are appreciated.

Still have a question?

For general RADV or merchandise questions, contact us. For support resources, start with Find Help. You do not need to tell your whole story to take a first step.
