A Website Built to Help Survivors Find Their Next Step
The new Riders Against Domestic Violence website is live, and everything we are building has one purpose:
Make it easier for survivors to find information, encouragement, resources, and a path forward.
RADV.org isn’t meant to be just another organization website.
It’s meant to be a bridge.
When someone is experiencing domestic violence, they may not know what kind of help they need. They may not know which organization to call. They may not even be ready to tell someone what is happening.
That’s why we have worked to make RADV.org a place where someone can simply begin.
Start With Resources
Our Resources section helps connect survivors with established organizations and services that may provide crisis assistance, shelter information, legal resources, advocacy, safety information, and additional support.
RADV doesn’t pretend to provide every service ourselves.
We believe one of the most important things we can do is help survivors find the people and organizations equipped to provide the assistance they need.
That’s what being the bridge means.
Read, Learn and Find Encouragement
Our Articles section goes beyond statistics and definitions.
We talk about domestic violence, coercive control, stalking, warning signs, unhealthy relationships, survivor safety, rebuilding, self-worth, hope, faith, perseverance, and life after abuse.
Some articles educate.
Some challenge us.
Some simply remind a survivor:
What happened to you does not get to write the rest of your story.
Find Community Through RADV Chapters
Our new Chapters section represents the next stage of RADV.
We are working toward developing local RADV Riders Clubs supported by riders and non-riders who want to make a difference in their communities.
Chapters will be able to share local news, rides, events, community activities, and opportunities to support local help centers.
You don’t have to ride a motorcycle to be part of the mission.
There is room on this road for people who want to help.
Learn Who We Are
The About section explains the RADV mission and the survivor experience behind it.
RADV wasn’t created from a boardroom.
It grew from understanding what it feels like when life falls apart—and understanding how important it can be when someone finally points you toward hope.
Connect With Us
Our Contact section gives survivors, supporters, organizations, potential chapter members, and community partners a way to reach RADV.
We won’t always have the answer.
But when we can help someone find the organization that does, we have done our job.
The Website Will Keep Growing
RADV.org isn’t finished.
Neither is RADV.
We will continue adding survivor resources, educational articles, chapter news, events, stories, partnerships, and tools that can help people navigate the road ahead.
And we will keep listening.
Because this website isn’t being built for algorithms.
It’s being built for people.
For the survivor searching at 2:00 in the morning.
For the family member who doesn’t know how to help.
For the friend who knows something isn’t right.
For the rider who wants to make a difference.
For the person who finally decided:
Today, I’m going to look for help.
Wherever you are on that road, RADV.org can be a place to start.
You don’t have to have everything figured out.
You only have to find the next step.
Riders Against Domestic Violence
We Are the Bridge.
Your best miles are ahead.
