ESCAPE

Heavenly Father,

As we begin this Sunday, we come before You with grateful hearts. Thank You for giving us another day, another breath, and another opportunity to choose love over hate, peace over anger, and hope over despair.

Today we lift up every survivor of abuse. Wrap them in Your protection and remind them that they are not forgotten, not abandoned, and never beyond Your love. Give courage to those who are afraid, strength to those who are weary, and peace to those who are carrying burdens too heavy to bear alone.

We also pray for the children whose lives have been touched by violence. Guard their hearts, heal their wounds, and place safe, loving people in their paths. Let them grow up knowing that abuse does not define their future.

Lord, bless every advocate, volunteer, counselor, law enforcement officer, medical professional, shelter worker, and every person who chooses to stand in the gap for someone in need. Give them wisdom, compassion, and endurance for the work You have called them to do.

We ask for healing in families, restoration where it is possible, protection where it is needed, and justice for those who have suffered. Help us all to recognize that our words, our actions, and our choices matter. May we always choose the road that leads to kindness, mercy, and truth.

Bless the mission of Riders Against Domestic Violence. May we continue to be a bridge connecting hurting people with hope, resources, and a reminder that they never have to walk alone.

Finally, Lord, help each of us to remember that no matter what this week brings, You are already there. Guide our steps, guard our hearts, and let our lives reflect Your light to everyone we meet.

In Jesus’ name we pray,
